Graylie arrived July 19th at 6:46pm weighing 8 lbs and 21.5 inches long. She arrived a whole 3 weeks early and we were very surprised that she was 8 lbs. We knew she would arrive early because at my 36 week appointment I was already 5cm dilated, but not having regular contractions. Well 3 days later (37 weeks to the day) I started having regular contractions at work so I left at lunch and we headed to the hospital. Graylie is perfect and big brother Carter is doing well adjusting to the new addition.

We went down to the beach for the NC spring optometry conference. I was able to get some ce credits as well as enjoy the beach.

Spring Fun!!

I am terrible at updating this blog, sorry. Here are a few pictures from March and early April. As soon as I scan in our ultrasound pictures, I will post those as well as some pictures of my growing belly.

It's a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Baby #2!!!

Some of you may know that we are expecting our 2nd child in August. We are so excited and cannot wait until Monday when we find out if this little one is a boy or a girl. Carter is also excited there is a new brother or sister coming. He knows there is a baby in mommy's tummy and is looking forward to "playing cars, trucks, and trains with the baby." I will update with our big news on Monday, hopefully baby won't be shy!

The Little Gym

Carter has been going to The Little Gym for a year now and really enjoys it! He just had his last class before he moves up to the 3 year old class. In his new class he will be going while mommy and daddy watch from the window. I think Zack will have a harder time watching, he is usually in there helping and playing with Carter.

Christmas and more!!

Here are some updated pictures from the past 2 months. We had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

On the weekends we have decided to fill our Saturdays exploring museums and other places. Carter enjoyed the Marbles museum as well as Bumper Jumpers!

Also, in December, we had a great snow weekend! We didn't get as much snow as predicted, but received enough to play outside and make a snowman.
