BEACH!!!

Over the weekend we went to the beach for the annual Optometric Society meeting. It was the 100th anniversary of the NC Optometric Society, what a great milestone!! I was able to spend some time at the beach as well as get some continuing education classes in. Carter enjoyed playing in the sand and the ocean, but he kept his shoes on the entire time. I guess he didn't like the way the sand felt on his feet.

Birthday Party

We celebrated Carter and our cousin Nathan's birthday the other weekend with a party at our house. It was a lot of fun and I appreciate everyone who came out and celebrated with us!!

Carter is 2!!!!

On May 28th, Carter turned 2 years old. We celebrated on Thursday night by going to his favorite place to eat and then tasting some yummy cake. On Saturday we took Carter to see Sesame Street Live and he loved it, he was dancing and pointing out Elmo the whole time. We will continue the birthday celebration this weekend with some family and friends so I will have more pictures to follow.
