We finally got our backyard fenced in and it's great, Carter liked to go outside and supervise the progress being made. Maddie, our dog, has plenty of room to play and we don't have to worry about her trying to run and play with any dog she sees walking down the street. We are looking forward to getting Carter a swing set to put in the yard, but for know we just love the space to run and play.

Ravioli, mmmmmm
Carter is eating and trying so many new foods. He loves fresh strawberries, blueberries, chicken tenders, turkey, mac and cheese, ravioli and he still likes his Gerber veggies. As you can see from the photos he had fun not only eating the ravioli, but also using his tray and the sauce as finger paint. Carter is also getting more teeth. He has three on top and two on the bottom and can you believe that he is actually getting one of his top molars, who knew those came this early.

Trouble
You can see from the look on his face and from what his shirt says (here comes trouble) that this little man gets into everything. I had the day off from work today and Zack ran a few errands so I got a sample of what he goes through everyday. If Carter is not trying to get into the dog food, he is pulling the bowls out of the cabinet, throw shoes out of the closet, take all the DVD's off the shelf, chase the dog, pull the cat's hair, and running laps around the house. So, it's a full day of keeping up with this little one. Luckily our new bonus room has given him a huge space to play in his ball pit, push his toys, and just run himself silly until he poops out.
With all this running around, Carter is growing and learning everyday. He understands a lot of what we say and ask and it's amazing to watch him point or go pick up things when we ask him for example, where's your basketball or where's Elmo. He is a wonderful little boy, but will pitch a fit (lay on the ground and cry) if he doesn't get his way. Wonder where he got that from =)
New hair style
During nap time, Carter sleeps on his stomach with his knees up underneath him and his little butt in the air. He also wakes up every time with a huge mow hawk. As you can see from above he has a new look and the only way to get his hair to lay flat again is to put water on it.
He also loves the steps at our new home and anytime the gate is down, he flies up them as well as down. Carter thinks he's a big boy and is trying to walk down the stairs, we have to watch him carefully and remind him to go feet first.
