On Friday we went to the State Fair. We saw many animals, but I think Carter's favorite were the cows
because he kept saying cow over and over. At the
kiddie land park, Carter played the lucky duck game where he picked through many ducks to find the lucky one. Of course he picked out an Elmo as his prize. We sampled lots of the food, listened to a blue grass band (Carter danced and stomped his foot to the beat) and saw a variety of exhibits. Zack shot a basketball into those tiny hoops to win Carter a Mr. Wuf. Overall, we had a great day and look forward to next year's fair.

a very LARGE Percheron horse at the fair. If you see the person to the side of the photo you can kind of see how big this horse is (to the top of his back about 6 feet). This breed of horse is known for being large.
